The Matron Council of Pellan'uque Quellarin
The matrons of the most important noble houses of Pellan'uque Quellarin form a council that rules the very city. In the council they decide about everything that happens in the city that needs the attention of the administration.
Structure
The Matriarch of the city is the spokeswoman of the council and her opinion matters the most. Basically she rules the city, but she still needs to adhere to certain rules or the other women in the council may revoke her rights and cast her away from the council. The balance is delicate and the political game is strong in the matron council.
Military
Every noble House has their own troops, but the House Claddtlar'iryn is the only military family in the city and thus has the biggest army, which is of course mostly used to keep the city safe.
Religion
The only allowed religion is the Belief of The Spider Goddess. All other faiths and believers will be eliminated.
