Eowyn

Underground forest

A beautiful and magical place underground. Eowyn is filled with life, joy and harmony - visiting the cave system is a spiritual experience, and many visitors have reported an almost healing effect on the mind.
Underneath the surface of Domus, lies a place of fairy tales; a place so wonderful and almost filled with magic - or at least it feels like that. This giant cave system I completely isolated from the outside, all but one opening, that isn't that obvious and is very hard to find. The cave have been called Eowyn by the Nadvë that were here before us. They talked about this magical place, and they had written about the almost healing effect the cave had on visitors that stayed there for a couple of hours.
Much is still unknown about Eowyn, and only small pieces of new information are collected every time they've visited. The place seems to enchant the visitors in a trance-like state, and it's hard to keep a hold of your thoughts. It's a very blissful experience, but this effect is not good for science - how will we ever get enough data?
The small hidden entrance has also been reported to be "moving" around a lot. It has shown to be difficult to remember where it is, even with a map or GPS. It certainly moves at times, but no one really knows how that's possible.

Flora and fauna

The large cave is filled with plant life that hasn't been seen on the surface of Domus. New species only located in Eowyn is now estimated to be hundreds. A day and night cycle seems to be there too, even though sun-light never enters the cave. The plants have evolved to shine a beautiful turquoise or light blue light, that lights up the cave for a couple of hours. The plant life has a very unique balance in the cave - everything seems to be connected and helps each other in a very intricate system. Animal life has also been observed, but mostly small serpent-like creatures, and other small animals or bugs.

When the cave lights up, everything comes to life. Even the plants look like they are moving; all with their own agenda. Specimens of the plants have been taken out to the surface to be further observed, but it hasn't been possible to grow any of the plants on the surface.
