DuskLake
An underground Drow elf city of some size.
Developed by Nathanial His words:
Dusklake worship some of the regular elf deities, but still hold some traditions of worship for the main drop deities. Our town is surprisingly large but only if you go further into the cavern. Few free outsiders have ever gotten passed the edges of the lake and lived/escaped to tell the story.
Dusklake has a separate rulership from the elven empire, Lunation Empire . We aren’t currently at war with them but we also aren’t subjects of their empire. We also have some interactions with the dwarves that live near us in the mountains. We provide “labor” and they turn a blind eye.
The rites of passage will go until the drow member feels they’ve accomplished enough to brag about. During their return they will sell most of their non essential possessions and purchase/capture as many slaves of other races excluding dwarves, and other elves, the more slaves/followers they are able to bring back with them the, higher their status will be. Even higher standing will be given if they are able to boast of great deeds/kills.
