• Where was Faelee Emberspark born?

She was born in the Lunation Empire with an uneventful birth.

• Who are her parents?

Her parents are unknown as they gave her to the Khalanis Academy for teaching and training as a royal court wizard. She does inherit her red eyes and hair to her lineage along with her ability to inherently cast Fire Bolt.

• Is her parents/family still alive?

She does not know about her birth parents or biological family, but she considers the faculty and her fellow students to be her family. She credits the Associate Director of the library, insert name here, as the one who raised her. She lives and still works at the Khalanis Academy .

• What was your character doing before the adventuring life?

She was living, studying, and researching at the academy.

• Why did your character leave their previous life?

Early on in her studies, she happened upon a hidden and forgotten tome called The Vud'Telken. Written in an ancient language of the Deep. Driven by an unknown urge, she studied it in secret and learned the language. What she learned scared her. A powerful being came to her and offered her great power if she would serve it and its master, the Necroking. She recoiled at the thought and burned the tome and her notes as a means of security, but she could not remove the knowledge still in her mind. Seeking protection from other worldly forces, she turned to religion. In her search, she happened upon a deity oft talked about, Kelemvor. He came to her in a vision and requested her aid to stop the Necroking and the legions of the undead. He also warned that forces unseen were watching her and to flee her home in order to keep them safe.

• What did your character leave behind?

She left all that she ever knew in order to serve her deity and keep her home safe.

• What does your character want?

She wants to stop the Necroking and restore the balances of life and death so that she can return home and someday become Director of the Royal Academy Library.
