Alms Furth

You have spent a long hot day on the road and are looking forward to settling down in a nice inn with a warm bed, a hearth and warmer drinks. The smoke of a villiage spirals into the sky. It's not far now, you think to yourself as you crest a small hillock. But something looks wrong.   The smoke isn't from the chimneys of the quiet little village, they are from the remains of the burned out hovels. Bodies can be seen spread out around the outskirt of the village, none of them moving.   Approaching you find strange circles of power with sigils lining them all carved into the chests of these poor villagers. Dagger wounds in their hearts mark the center of the intricate designs and the look of horror on the faces of the dead speak to the unholy nature of what happened here.   A shadow passes overhead, too square to be a cloud. A large Necropolis glowing with faint green hues is hovering hundreds of feet above emerging from cloudcover.   "The Necroking has taken this place..." says a voice as if from another world "What do you do?"
