You push open the thick oaken doors and they let out a creak as you enter. Instantly the smell of book glue, dust, and paper flood your senses. There is a small desk flanked by smaller rows of bookshelves with larger ones in the backdrop behind a metal gate just behind the desk.
You can see many levels to the guild house over the iron gate. On some levels above, Books are stacked and arrayed haphazard, some toppled and splayed on the floor. This is contrasted with the starkly organized and perfectly aligned shelves on others.
High above a colored glass dome depicts various mythological figures in a battle with the brilliant light of the early morning sun pouring through.
Some books float by seemingly of their own accord and you hear faint whispers of hushed conversations hidden behind the towering shelves of the main floor of the Guildhouse.
