Zostron
Zostron is one of eight continents in Alithia and one of two continents that are made up of islands. On this continent, there are six islands and seven kingdoms. There is Apral, Iunia, Broac Frein, Teril, Estrad, Jespuoria, and Osnington. The kingdoms of Estrad and Teril not only occupy the biggest island on the continent, but they also rule over half of the same island. Until the merging of the ruling clans - through marriage - the kingdoms of Estrad and Teril ruled their half of the island. Once the merging of the two ruling clans took place, the island of Estrad became the The United Kingdom of Floale. Regardless of the kingdom or country, religion plays a major part in the people's lives on this continent.
Geography
The primary terrain of Zostron is rivers and grasslands. The island of Osnington is located in the northwestern part of the continent. The island of Jespuoria, is located in the southwestern part of the continent. The island of Iunia is located in the northeastern part of the continent. The island of Apral is located in the southeastern part of the continent. The island of the The United Kingdom of Floale is located in the north center of the continent. The island of Broac Frein is located in the south center of the continent. To the north of the continent is the Sea of Cane]. To the northeast of the continent is the continent: Vriosakin. To the northwest of the continent is the continent: Tuqon. To the south of the continent is the The Sea of Caesna. To the east of the continent is the Dragon Sea. To the west of the continent is the Sea of Balmis. To the east/west of the continent is the continent Iazish.
Ecosystem
Zostron is home to humans, weredragons, and halflings. There isn't a specific island or country in which humans, weredragons, and halflings are predominant in. There is about the same amount of each species in Osnington, Estrad, Teril, Jespuoria, Broac Frein, Apral, and Iunia. Here in Zostron, it is home to most of the witches, wizards, and mages in the human race. Some of the covens/guilds play a major part in their history. Although weredragons have resided in Zostron since the beginning of time, their existence seems to be non-existent. After the war between humans and dragons, weredragons became a rare breed; or rather a secretive race. Over time, as different species traveled to Zostron and the native species traveled outside of the continent; they started to settle all over the continent.
History
From the beginning of Zostron until the merging of two royal clans – the Evans Clan and the Faulcon Clan - the kingdoms of Estrad and Teril ruled their part of the island separately. Once the two royal clans merged together, the two kingdoms became the The United Kingdom of Floale. From the bloodline starting from the marriage of the two clans, they rule the The United Kingdom of Floale. Although the kingdoms of Estrad and Teril rule over both kingdoms as a whole under one royal family in general, the clan from both sides rules the kingdoms in detail separately. So long as they follow the rules and laws the merged family declared in their rule, along with the rules and laws they decided to keep from either country.
