Campaign 4, Session 9

The group visits the Ironspines, and then returns into the Spire.

The group headed north, determined to sell off their loot as they had all these heavy suits of armor. They stopped and spoke with Divram Ironspine, who agreed to take their loot into Thistlefort and sell it as he was going that way anyways. They agreed, leaving the loot with him and heading back to the Spire.   Arriving at the Spire, they noticed Caen's grave had been dug up, and that tracks led into the Spire. Going back down into the dungeon, they had to do battle with an angry spirit that took the form of Caen, though he seemed much more powerful. He wielded his guitar as a deadly weapon, and played haunting music that inspired fear into the group, music that played independently on his guitar without him physically controlling it. They eventually were able to slay the spirit, who left his guitar behind. Unsure of what to do with it, they chucked it into one of the abandoned spire pits.
