Sarabrina spent the first seven years of her life in The Hylands before she was sent to Earth and raised by Rye and Brendon Cooper in the U.S.
While on Earth, Sarabrina grew interested in astronomy, thanks to the Elfbourne's foster brother Arthur. Due to her insatiable curiosity, she began using the newly-introduced World Wide Web to find information, along with her local and school libraries. She was most often found with her nose in a book, often studying alongside Arthur who had a similar appetite for knowledge. She also became a big part of her school and church choirs.
In 2000, she and her siblings returned to The Hylands and she was forced to adjust to a completely different world. She often retreated into books, and watched the stars to remind her of home, but even the constellations were foreign. If not for Twilight taking her under her wing, she might have grown unbearably homesick. She still frequently misses Arthur, Rye, Brendon, and the Boxer Codi, but she's been able to adjust enough to The Hylands to feel at home.

Education

She was public schooled on Earth and participated in her church and school choirs. Once back in The Hylands, she was privately tutored in archery, etiquette, diplomacy, Severen, voice, piano, etc.

History

Twilight and Sarabrina hit it off immediately, finding right away that they share passions both for reading and for astronomy. They spend a lot of time together as they're getting reacquainted, and Twilight is the one to introduce Sarabrina to her close friend Shael Burke. History

Though Shael and Sarabrina knew each other briefly before the Elfbournes were sent to Earth, they were both quiet and didn't really interact; their encounters were primarily while they were both sitting in the library reading. When Sarabrina returned, however, they were reintroduced nearly immediately when Twilight heard that Sarabrina had nurtured a love for astronomy in her time away. Shael and Sarabrina hit it off right away and now they spend time together in the observatory as often as they can. Sarabrina loves to watch Shael work and can't help but adopt his enthusiasm. Shael ends up being instrumental in introducing Sarabrina to the new-to-her constellations and making her feel more at home.
