Friedrich Brimstone
Emperor of the Human Empire (a.k.a. The Lion, The Emperor)
Friedrich Brimstone was the last emperor of The Human Empire and reigned from 49 b. BF till 0 BF. With his death, a new time calculation began. His regency was based on defensive war and coordination of the Human Empire. He was the first ruler, who chose to be called by his last name.
Brimstone had a good relationship with Hans von Freital, the ruler of Freeland, which ultimately led to a ceasefire between the Empire and the province. Furthermore, Brimstone was good friends with one of the aristocratic families of Casduin.
The Human Empire was in a very unstable state and Brimstone focussed on the cohesion of the provinces in Ephea and the countries in Lusitania. Further, due to the friendship of his family with an aristocratic family in Casduin, he managed to slow down the forces of the Elven Alliance from swarming the Empire. A lot of human troops were assigned to maintain inner security.
In 40 b. BF, Brimstone himself changed his title from King to Emperor of the Empire and mobilized the army to march towards Dwarves, orcs, and dragonborn. Those targets expected such a declaration earlier already and prepared the defenses well enough, denying Brimstone's armies much progress.
In 17b. BF, he had his first child, Fiona Brimstone with his wife Ursula Brimstone and one year later Lawrence Brimstone. Ursula Brimstone died after the birth of her son and Brimstone hired governess Margarethe to raise Fiona and Lawrence. Brimstone himself took care of educating his son in sword fighting and hired teachers for further education in other fields like religion, horseback riding, and diplomacy. In 9 b. BF, Brimstone arranged the marriage of his daughter Fiona with Alexander von Freital, the prince of Freeland. That way, he ensured peace or at least armistice between the Empire and Freeland and was able to focus on the expansion of the Empire westwards.
When Lawrence reached the age of 14 in 2 b. BF, Brimstone took him with him on conquests and diplomatic trips. One of these trips in 0 BF happened to go to Casduin, visiting the elven allies of Brimstone. However, after getting a high financial offer from the Elven Alliance, the elven aristocrats chose to break the friendship with Brimstone and betrayed him. Brimstone was able to escape from the meeting with his son and fled to Ithildin, the fortress of the elven colony on the Xedan Islands. The fortress was sieged by a small army of Elves and the elven navy cut off reinforcements from the Empire.
On the 13th of Gwenth 0 BF, Emperor Brimstone was pushed over the pinnacles of a tower of the fortress Ithildin by his son Lawrence and fell to his death.
Description
Emperor Brimstone was 1.83m (6') tall and had dark brown hair. He was very muscular and is often depicted in golden armor with Secular's sword on his side.Abilities
Brimstone was an outstanding martial swordfighter and general. He also possessed knowledge of fighting with other martial weapons, like axes, maces, and even the bow, however, the sword was by far his preferred weapon. He didn't learn the arts of magic.Relationship and activities

Biography
Friedrich Brimstone was born on the 25th of Gruxva 60 b. BF as the first child of Friedrich III (also called Friedrich Jr.). His father was a successor of King Gregory and Count of Raens. He grew up in noble circumstances and was raised and trained to take over the throne of Raens in the future, including education in martial arts and weapon fighting. However, in 50 b. BF, Friedrich III arranged the marriage of his son and Ursula Brimstone, the sister of King Syrius, the current ruler of The Human Empire. King Syrius wasn't married and didn't have any child and after his death in 49 b. BF, the right of the throne of the Human Empire was inherited by Ursual Brimstone and transposed to her spouse, Friedrich Brimstone. At the age of 12, on the 1st of Rondra 48 b.
