The Five Nations
Once the unified kingdom of Galifar, the death of its loved and respected ruler Emperor Elwin Galifar sparked division among the land and the rise of the Five Nations: Ayrindor, Cairharn, Tere, Doopaun, and Aridar. The Five Nations warred for 100 years, in what is now known as The Last War, leading the land into chaos and uncertainty. After the nation of Aridar was decimated in a mysterious magical explosion known as The Mourning , the war came to a tenous end with no real winner. The fear of another Mourning keeps the peace between these nations, and relations are slowly mending between the Nations as peace is being given a chance. There is still much tension however.
