Weaver Sorcery

Channelers of Spellfire

Counterparts to Wild Sorcery, Weavers are sorceress that have been education in casting in one way or another. If one meets a sorcerer, most likely it is a Weaver. Some are taken on by experienced sorcerers, other educated by tutors, and the rare few find a collage that has curriculum for Casting naturally, rather than a Wizard. A rare few are even self-taught, though these more often end up becoming undisciplined wild magic sorcerers instead. These sorcerers learn to hone and control their internal power, through teachers. They learn the safest, well tested, way of channeling their Daanan into the magic they desire. As they grow in experience, weavers can surge their castings in ways another Caster never learn.

Though they do not have the prestige and education among the courts that wizards do, Weavers are still popular across the major continent of Ethae. This is due to their talent in magic detection and skill in countering other casters magical attacks. Skills many wizards never master.

Arc Killon in the Kingdom of Marras is the only known college that focuses curriculum on sorcery magic. Most noble children of that nation will be educated at this school, with the men learning wizarding arts, while the women learn sorcery. Sorceress' that graduate from the college are almost always Weavers.
