Wizards of Divination

A diviner is a type of Wizard that focuses their study of the Anon (Magic) towards understanding reality itself. They search for knowledge of the future and past, to see beyond the world and the physical limitations of the body. Diviners look for foreknowledge, seeing remote places to gain knowledge and connecting to the reality of Beyond Aldern to gain insight.

Diviners have been under the scrutiny of the Church in the past century. The nature of the magic, and it not being considered of divine origin by religious zealots, has elevated the rising persecution of diviners. These persecutions have largely been verbal assaults on the diviner's character and nature, rather than anything violent, in places like the Heartlands. In fringe locations, such as the religiously zealous Slavyum, however, a trend for violence has grown. Some of these are government or church sanctioned.

The college of Divinare in Lakorth is the leading school for diviners in Ethae.
