To most, copper is just a cheap coin in their pocket. The Copper Piece, such as the Anbar 'seely' or Novyum 'pence', is in fact the lowest valued of currencies. But to the learned copper is far more than a simple cheap metal. Aside from its value in creating alloys such bronze and brass for art, decorations, and tools copper is the best-known natural conductor of the Anon (Magic).

Most of all, copper is used in the creations of the Wand, Staff, or Rod of Wizard.


  To the Dwarf it is a divine metal. Their kings throughout time have worn armor of copper, stronger than the thickest steel. To the Elf, it is a tool of power, able to forge blades that will cut through enemy steel as if paper. Copper is truely, as they say, 'the Gift of God to the world.'
