Reinard Loiren- Dhuosnos (a.k.a. Primrose)

Reinard Loiren, known later as Primrose, is a Resurrectionist and early creator of Double Walker. He was a popular Heno actor, famous for his natural beauty and dramatic, sensual performances. Though he seems indifferent and sometimes antagonistic toward Bernhild and her company, Reinard has a deep emotional connection with her that transcends life and death. Despite pining for his previous life and a simple happiness, he ultimately stays at Bern's side until her return to stardust. Though he desires to follow her, Old Nick convinces him to help Kalv before the latters blesses their bodies and returns them to a shared grave.

Personal history

Reinard was orphaned or abandoned and raised by the Empire of Heno in its twilight. His refined appearance and natural charisma allowed him success as a dancer in acting troupes, and he would eventually be selected to join more prestigious performances, aligning himself with influential people. He was known for both male and female roles. He made acquaintance with Bernhild during this time, as she designed some of his costumes. During the fall of the Heno Empire, he would be targeted based on his parentage by the influx of Belfolk in administrative positions. Not growing up with legal guardians or a traceable mother is looked down upon in their culture, thus he would fall out with popular opinion. He was forced to flee the city, which he did with the help of Bernhild. They would go on to become Alrauna, moving Northwest and settling in Rhudd where they refined their craft and infiltrated the ruling elite.

Sexuality

Reinard is often thought to exclusively prefer the company of other men. This is further compounded by how cold he seems toward his legal wife, Lambscress. However, Reinard is pansexual. He loves the art of seduction and romanticizes intimacy in his head, seeing his paramours as a mutual conquests, with gender or sex being negligible.

Intellectual Characteristics

In contrast to his vibrant character on the stage, Primrose off the stage is introverted and subdued. He is often criticized for being too blunt in his honesty and for giving unsolicited critique, something which Bernhild has gotten used to but many others haven't. As such he struggles to make meaningful connections with people, but isn't too phased by it. However, in his romantic life he does tend to fall hard and enjoy the thrill of the chase. He is very prone to flattery and praise, and mercurial as he is plagued with existential dread.
