The Hidden Current
The Hidden Current is a smugglers ring run by the mayor of Wysepka, Pavlina Strachow. Pavlina Strachow is secretly the cousin of the current head of the house of Pazerski. They have managed to form ties to a weapons smith in Mytograd, and they have steadily begun to smuggle in weapons to the Pazerski keep in the south, where they plan their eventual usurpation of the Sorcerer. The primary culprits of this are the towns guard in Wysepka, who are all secretly from the Pazerski-Wiezek, the guard captain in Wysepka, Krzysztof, a few loyal servants of house Pazerski, the leader of house Pazerski, and of course Pavlina herself. From the outside, there is also the UMT, who sponsers the plot.
Pavlina has set up an agreement with the UMT, and they now supply her with weapons, made in Skrzyzowanie. Every other week, when a shipment from the UMT arrives, the standard goods are offloeaded, but with them a crate or two of weapons is also offloaded and brought to the Pazerski Warehouse. Then, every week, on the last day of the week, one of the disguised guards takes a crate, and ferries it across the River Dawn in the dead of night. There, a mule awaits him, alongside another guard. In turn, they then transport the weapons to the Pazerski hideout far south, close to Pazerski keep. Because of this, there is always two guards missing from the guard force in Wysepka.
The Hidden Current wishes to bring in mercenaries by way of the UMT, but the U.M.T are hesitant to fully commit to The Hidden Current and house Pazerski's plot. They need more convincing. With Pavlina having witnessed the abilities of the players, both in being persuaded by cash, and by being enemies of the Lordship of Katrach, she believes they could turn out to be most valuable. She will be looking to recruit them if possible.
Soldiery
The Hidden Current, or house Pazerski, currently has only twelve soldiers, which is the, alleged, guards in Wysepka. These soldiers are simply armed, but well trained, with their leader, Krzysztof, even having been a knight of house Pazerski once. House Pazerski is also training a milita in their barony, though secretly. In the woods, about three miles into the forest, a training site has been set up by them. Currently, there's about 50 people who come here a few times a few secretly. They are not particularly skilled, but they have the basics down. More importantly though, they are well armed. There are a total of three statblocks for this levy. They are all variations of the guard statblock. Heavy soldiers
There are a total of 10 in the levy who carry chain mail. These have a strenght of 14, and 12 hp instead. They have an ac of 18, as they carry shields as well. With that they also have longswords. If the delivery from the U.M.T which is being transported is for some reason not allowed to arrive in Pazerski barony, the number of these Heavy Soldiers is reduced to only 4, as they dont have chain mail for them. Archers
From the remaining 40, there's 10 archers. They carry longbows, but are not profecient, unless someone profecient actually takes the time to properly train them. Five of these soldiers have studded leather, while the other five are unarmored. Light Soldiers
The other 30 of the levy are guards with studded leather instead of chain shirts. 15 of them, so half, carry shields, while the other half of them doesn't. They also carry longswords instead of spears. Otherwise, their stats are the same. Apart from these half-trained men, Pazerski would also be able to call up another 50 men from their lands, though these would be fully untrained, and little more then rabble with spears and makeshift shields. They might have the statistics of a commoner, but with a spear and a shield. Despite their lack of skill, these men are still useful in battle. It's very unlikely that house Pazerski would not call on these men. Andrzej Inventory

To my beloved
Things are happening. A group of adventurers recently came to town, though at first I suspected they were little more then travellers, it seems that they had somehow managed to escape Castle Katrach. These people could turn out to be a great asset to our cause. I would personally say we ought to recruit them, surely they will be persuaded by handsome reward and a chance to get back at the Sorcerer.
Otherwise things are progressing well. So far it seems that the loyalists have held up their end of the bargain, however, if you say the word I shall expose their hideout, and Thurh will eradicate them.
As youre sure to have noticed, this delivery is far larger than most before. Our foreign assoicates seem to have commited to our cause completely, and I imagine we can expect larger delivieries regularly from now on. We'd better prepare ourselves to act soon, I feel as if things are aligned in our favour.
How goes it at home? Does the girl suspect anything, or is she just as clueless as ever?
Sincerly, Celina
