Orc Diasporas

The Uprising devastated the Legions' homeland, already strip-mined for the war effort, but the fledgling independent orc culture chose, as a body, to remain in what they named the Darklands with the aim of bringing it back to life.
This work was hard, and not for all. Many Orcs left in a piecemeal fashion, but there were also two larger migrations, known as the diasporas. The First Diaspora saw the goblinoid labour pool remove to Kyuzh-magh, and a large number of orcs depart for holdings in Suto and Caino. The Sutan expedition largely returned in failure, but those who crossed the Coronal Sea joined the ones already there to forge the Nome of the Storm's Eye.
The Second Diaspora followed a great boom on arc population, out of proportion to the reclamation of the land. This time, the diasporites went north. Individual tribes settled here and there, but the bulk of them founded diarchies in the Auroran Highlands. The Auroran Diarchies became the great northern domain of orc culture, until they were scattered by the Fall of Titania.
