Caino

Caino is the western continent of Aiaos, dominated by vast plains and forests which run down from the towering, volcanic mountains of the Skystone Peaks. Rivers flow through the Elysian Boundary from the Step of Una, into the verdant grassland known as the Green Sea and out across the continent. These waters bear rich soil, which accounts for Caino's incredible fertility. The north of the continent is cooler, far from the noonday sun and separated from the morning and evening heat by the cool expanse of the Pyraean Ocean.
The continent is home to three great empires, which exist in an unstable equilibrium, the threat of the third preventing any two falling into open conflict.
The far north is controlled by the minotaur dynasties of the Thunderhead Dominion, while the lands around the Skystone Peaks belong to the sprawling Elysian Federation. These two great powers are separated by the Free Moblands, the traditional ranges of those minotaurs who retain their old, nomadic lifestyle.
The south is hotter, warmed by the noon sun and the warm currents of the Straights of Muna. In the Skystone Delta, the rough stone of the Jagged Teeth is home to one of the great Triton kingdoms.
The southern forests are warm, damp jungles, and the rivers carve out great canyons. This is where the Empire of the Southern Sun has its dominion.
