Jagged Teeth

The northernmost kingdom of the Tritons is built into the granite foundations of the Tooth Isles. This line of islands are an extension of the ridge of the Skystone Peaks into the Bay of Fishers. The tritons of Jagged Teeth claim control of the entire Pyraean Ocean, and assert this claim with an unparalleled force of Seafolk soldiers, as well as the Blood Tide, a terrifying force of 'rehabilitated' Merrow shock troops.
Jagged Teeth is ruled by two monarchs, the Fisher and the Pyraean, the first responsible for domestic affairs, and the management and defence of the Tooth Isles and the Bay, and the second for foreign affairs and control of the military. Each of the monarchs is elected for a ten year term by and from a specific group of triton noble families - the Fisher Clans and the Pyraean Families - serving the first five years as junior to the previous monarch, and the second five as senior to the next.
The tritons of Jagged Teeth have alliances with the Genasi of the coastal nomes, but a fierce antagonism with the pirates tolerated – or even sponsored – by the Dukes of the Nome of the Crashing Rocks has long bolstered their resistance to joining the Blessed Concordance.
