Half-Celestials

Not to be confused with Aasimar, Half-Celestials are the children of celestials in mortal forms, usually Material-Bound, Rogue or Captive Celestials. The children of these unions are born with innate celestial capabilities, but no divine purpose, even if the getting of a child or children is a part of the celestial's purpose. While most half-celestials are born into eladrinate lineages, some Celestial Consors or primal Watchers engender half-celestial beasts.
Many half-celestials manifest their nature in benign or passive ways - truth-reading, healing, fortune telling or dowsing - but possessed of divine power with no divine limits, they can be destructive or dangerous. Unless the celestial parent both remains in the picture and retains a knowledge of their nature, a half-celestial is unlikely to be truly understoof by anyone in their life.
The children of half-celestials, and some aasimar, may be born as quarterlings. These appear as simple plane-touched mortals, bearing a gift of the Firmament.
