Pool of Atrocity
Once a key source of water for western villages, Lake Dimnle has since become corrupted by the Tombgrove's influence over the river that runs into it. It has since become a cesspit of murky waters and corrupted fish which lures venomous and sickly entities to its shores. One can often find trolls bathing in the murky waters whilst snacking on diseased fish.
Not many come to the pool for the dangerous creatures that rove there have caused illness. However it is still visited by those with purpose. Commonly, it is sellswords who seek materials from the plagued landscape for alchemists to study and brew potions with. However acolytes have also been known to make crusades to the lake and turn its necrotic energies away from downstream. The Rephend Loch is protected from corruption, thanks to their efforts, which are sometimes sacrificial given the troll packs that bathe there.
