House Thurkear

The 8th most predominant house, yet one of the most feared, House Thurkear is shrouded in mystery. What they do is kept from a majority of the population; but the other house know that House Thurkear is not to be trifled with. They are masters of stealth and death, able to easily bring down the enemies of the houses.

Structure

Split between only two patron dragon types, House Thurkear keeps its innermost workings a heavily guarded secret. Lead by the terrifying Void and Nightmare dragons; the Void dragons of the Amuul family specialize in destroying the physical body while the Nightmare dragons of the Malru family rend the mind.   Like all the great houses, the Eliatropes follow the same hierarchy as the dragon they stem from. Void eliatropes are the secret police and hitmen of the house, pursing the enemies of the eliatropes across the continent. Nightmare eliatropes study dark magic to twist the mind and become expert torturers.

Public Agenda

Publicly, House Thurkear guards against dark magics. Privately the house partakes in the dirty jobs that the other house don't want to do; assassination, extortion, kidnapping, torture, and the exploration of the darkest of magics. Whenever a house has a particular problem they can't get rid of themselves, they go to House Thurkear.

Assets

House Thurkear is heavily trained in stealth, capable of sneaking into even the fortified buildings of the other houses. They also contain many dark magics that most are ill-equipped to deal with.
