Aera Ven

Aera Ven, also known as the Golden City or the Capital of Golden Flame is the capital of The Realm. Well defended, it is protected on three sides by the southern peaks of the White Mountains. Before the War of Cinders, Aera Ven Harbor and the road which runs along it were the main methods of entry into the city. Nowadays, entering (and leaving) the city is difficult, as King Vaeronel VII jealously guards his home from intruders, both real and imagined.
Aera Ven is the headquarters of the Phoenix Guard.
