Synthoil
"Its a modern marvel that whale diesel, which we have been using for well over 100 years, could finally be be substituted with a synthetic liquid made of smaller animal fats and crops. A farmer's dream that we have a way to decrease waste while simultaneously providing fuel for our tilling machines"A semi-solid liquid commonly used in-place of whale-diesel for fueling vehicular travel or high-powered machinery- A Foreign Diplomat
Discovery
Synthoil was discovered by a troupe of Vomethndan soldiers in 1655 working on a Rutschaflyga aircraft which ran out of fuel. As the craft was gliding through the air, the soldiers compressed their cargo of animal fats and grains using a package compressor on-board which created a semi-solid flammable fluid which they could inject into the fuel chassis.Access/Availability
Producing this fuel takes a large amount of natural materials and a device which can produce a massive amount of pressure, making it a much more expensive fuel source to produce, though the trade-off being that it can be produced quicker than whale diesel and in much less space. Synthoil is primarily used in industrial circumstances, being used not only for fuel of large assembly line machines but also for farming and military vehicles. With all of these factors in-mind, Synthoil is commonly produced in heavily industrial/agricultural centers, with the majority of the fuel being produced and distributed from Jordmässig, with Khudaldaa falling in close second.Utility
In addition to being used as a fuel source, synthoil has seen some use in skirmishes of the early war, with its semi-solid structure and flammability coupled allowing it to be a fairly competent chemical weapon. This application of the fuel source is commonly poured onto terrain to slow down or direct enemy batallions, or even burned directly onto enemy infantry who will surely burn to a crisp due to the semi-solid fuel's unwieldy nature.
Manufacturing
This fuel source is commonly created using a folley of bulk goods which would otherwise go to waste, such as animal fats/intestines and spare crops, which are then packed and pressed between two large plates until about the thickness of less than a centimeter. After being pressed once, the material is rolled and pressed once more, with the finished oily solid being scraped off and poured into large plasticine cans. The fuel source is more commonly used in Ezlekh due to Khudaldaa's reconstruction plates being able to convert any raw material to these bulk goods
