Welcome to the world of Aekko, a world where it is believed that fate is tied to the stars. Countless civilizations and empires have risen and collapsed in the history of this world leading to races of all kinds spread throughout the lands.
Magic is an ancient power in this world, with its earliest uses dating back to prehistory. It is thought that magic was first derived using runes, special symbols that draw power from everyday objects. In the current age, magic has expanded to the art of geomancy and mystek.
As of right now there are only three nations that we have developed. Ezlekh is a nation based on the ancient Mongolian Empire. Their magic is second to none, but they are a disjointed nation prone to petty infighting and an unwillingness to work together for a greater cause. The Viking based Vomethnda are pioneers in the budding technology of mystek and arcsthetics, a type of enchanted prosthetics. The nation itself is relatively new, but their culture dates back almost to the enshrouded era. Lastly is Promaticous, a Greco-Roman nation who lost their ability to use magic due to a cataclysm of astral origin. They have since pulled themselves up by their bootstraps by means of industrialization and have become a well-respected trading empire, willing to trade anything from wine to mercenaries. In time we plan to expand and develop the other nations of Aekko.
