The war between the Elysians and the Chthonic.

The Divinity Strife official began once Sacre the Immortal Carver struck down Kylamet the Wyrm God. Despite this, it is rumored that the war was already years in the making, and that this murder simply set everything into motion.   Evidence of this comes from information gained from defeated Chthonic soldiers. In between mad ramblings they would spout key details about their Deities' plans. Apparently, the Chthonic Deities became aware that the forces of Primal Virtue and Primal Vice were evenly balanced on the universal scale. However, if the Material Plane were to fall to vice, the scale of power would forever be tipped in their favor. Thus would come unlimited and unrivaled power of all the planes of the multiverse.   There were hundreds of years of war and combat, with generations being born into a world torn by war, famine, and conflict. Finally, The Elysians and their followers of mortal blood managed to push back and imprison The Chthonic Deities.   The Era of Demiurge then came to an end, as the Elysians built the Divine Barrier.
