Kylamet the Wyrm God (/kil-ah-met/)

Former Primordial and Elysian

Kylamet the Wyrm God was the divine god of dragons, instinct, honor, annihilation, and wealth. He was once a Primordial who instead joined the other Deities to protect Aedar in its time of crisis. Kylamet was portrayed as the largest dragon there ever was, to the point that if he stood tall and proud, his head would block out the sun.   Being both a Primordial and a Deity, the Wyrm God was likely the most powerful being in his time. His followers were also among the strongest creatures on the Material Realm, consisting of powerful and ancient dragons, which he considered his children. He inspired great fear upon those who wish to do injustice, and great brilliance to those who wished to pursue an honorable life.   Kylamet's assassination by the hands of Sacre the Immortal Carver was the catalyst that began the Divinity Strife, as without their strongest ally, the Elysians were in a weaker state. Despite Sacre taking Kylamet by surprise and betraying his honorable trust, the Immortal Carver barely managed a victory, as the Wyrm God fought so viciously that his very steps erupted volcanoes.   Due to a reason unknown even to the Deities themselves, Kylamet's death was not truly his end. From his defeated body rose two figures both of immense power. One figure took all of Kylamet's virtues, that of honor, justice, and protection, and became Bahamut the Wyrm King. The other figure took all of Kylamet's vices, that of greed, envy, and trickery, and became Tiamat the Wyrm Tyrant.
