Bahamut the Wyrm King is the divine god of honor, justice, protection, nobility and fortune. He is often characterized as a noble and righteous royal figure, and a shining example to all those who wish to be good leaders, diplomats, or kings in Aedar.
Bahamut is depicted as a gargantuan platinum dragon. The only one of his kind, his platinum scales are said to have the ability to craft the mightiest weapons known to man. He is the patron god of all good-aligned metallic dragons, who all take scales in decreasing value to platinum.
More humanoid followers of Bahamut consist of proud leaders, powerful warriors, and those who stand up for the ones who can't. Bahamut has very little amount of temples scattered throughout the world. This is because the Wyrm King values actions and deeds far more than he would ever value honor through objects. They do exist however, and they mostly consist of devout and strong-willed people. No matter who comes to the door, true followers of the Wyrm King are expected to treat their guests with dignity, honor, and integrity.
It is a well known myth that the Wyrm King is not in the group of Deities who were first created. Instead, he is seen as the son to Kylamet the Wyrm God, who was murdered. From his fallen body, two figures arose, one being Bahamut the Wyrm King and the other Tiamat the Wyrm Tyrant. To this day it is said that Bahamut and Tiamat are eternal enemies, fated to one day clash again as siblings and rivals. Until then, the Wyrm King prepares his followers for the clash, and implores them to thwart any plans those who worship the Wyrm Tyrant might be hatching.
