Katargysian

Katargysían1 was the language used by the Katargysians, ancient dwarves who once ruled a civilization in western Gysikan before succumbing to a plague and invasions, and ancestors of the Dalindreans, Dvarrans, Fazeronians and Refonians who now inhabit eastern and southeastern Adynía.
Like Tanikazian in central Adynía, the language evolved from Zameltonian, but unlike the former, katargysian retained most of the features present in zameltonian, though its vocabulary expanded as the katargysians transitioned from a bronze-age society to an iron-age one.

Writing System

Early katargysian was written using a logograph based on zameltonian hieroglyphs, which eventually gave way to several different alphabets, three of which are still in use.
