Image Casting

Image casting is an ability unique to devs and dev culture, especially within the dev empire. Devs can focus to project a dimensional image before them. The possibilities of this image is limited by their skill, imagination and tools, such as crystal and ismat oil. From the untrained with no tools to the masters with resources, this can range from pillars of a single color, to fully realized palaces. Image casting is a complete body spell, that is to say, they connect their whole body to the image they are casting. Then, when they choose to animate the image they do so through dance. So if they are casting an image of a lion for example, a swing of the finger can swish the lion's tail. There are many disciplines and schools to the complex art of image casting. It is also part of sport, as competitors will battle through projected images. It is even a school game, where children will project and dance their cast snake (the most common and easiest animal to learn when starting) against another.
