Emeresia

Emeresia is the capitol of Branos. It is one of the first cities founded, and by far the largest city to exist in the world.

Demographics

Emeresia has a disproportionally high percentage of low-income individuals. They are carried by a trader and worker class that is mainly working in the transport, sale, distribution and maintenance of the goods created by the many lucrative farms of Branos. Above them a small group of high class citizens live, their opulent lifestyles financed through their holdings. Finally, at the very top, a small group of nobles preside above them.

Government

The City of Emeresia is traditionally governed by the diarchs of Branos.

Defences

Branos is surrounded by a stone wall. The mages guild has generated a magical field that will warn the guards of the city if any significant magical entities or followers of evil gods, such as the followers of Charnel enter the city. The inner walls are enormous walls that are constantly patrolled by guards. They serve as a second of defence in case of an attack and offer a bottleneck for the city guard to check and regulate who enters what part of the city. Finally an inner wall guards both the mages district, where civilians are to be sent in case of an evacuation, and the palace district.

Industry & Trade

Emeresia is a hub for the maintenance of the farms of Branos. As Branos does not have the capability of creating the metalwork many foreigners are employed in Emeresia to supplement the shipments required for such maintenance.
