Paladins of Silvana
The Paladins are the most prestigious Order that serve Silvana and, despite their minescule size, hold more power than almost any other Orginization in Branos. Paladins are the true living embodiments of Silvana's will, for though there may be many holy warriors that are granted power by Silvana, none can compare to a true paladin.
Paladins have the well earned reputation of being virually incoruptable, and as such, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who would deny the request or an order from any of the paladins.
Structure
The head paladin, or the primaris, is selected by Silvana. The primus may then select any individual she deems as worthy and elevate them to the rank of a paladin. These individuals are usually already extremly devoted to Silvana, be it as a priest, a holy warrior or a social worker. In practice the paladins are almost always recruited from the holy warriors that fight for Silvana. An example for an exceptions is Shameros, a young boy who went from a thief to a honoured Paladin.
Assets
The Paladins main physical assets are the memebers themselves. Depending on the time the Paladins tend to have between three and ten members. Each of these members is supported by a small staff that is sent from the Church of Silvana. Since the paladins had saved the Aarakocra tribes from extinction the Aarakocra vowed to supply each Paladin with one Griffon as a mount. Finally the Paladins are given permanant quarters in a tower within the castle grounds of Emeresia.
Asside from this the main asset of the Paladins is their reputation. They can expect support from most any government when they request it, and individuals will usually help them whenever they can. It has long been said that a paladin could gather an army with only a simple call, at least if they desired it, and the Treaty of Arlen allowed them to gather such a force.
Granted Divine Powers
Paladins of Silvana are granted a host of holy powers that are to be expected from any holy warrior of Silvana. Additionalyl they are given almost superhuman strength, though neither their speed and rection times, nor their mental capacities are imporved. Finally Paladins seem to be immune to disease and remarkably resistant to aging.

In the past the Paladins purposly avoided medelling in the political affairs of mortals. After Nyx disappeared and the exile of the Brightspire family and with it, one of the two Diarch of Branos, Avelana Roseheart has begun undermining the moonsung leadership, though she would never rebel agianst them openly, nor does she wish to incite rebellion or remove them from their rightful position.
