Diarch of Branos

The diarchs of Branos are the last descendants of the Moonsung and Brightspire lines. They lead Branos as Silvana and Nyx dictated when they came down and claimed the Country for their own.

Responsibilities

The diarchs are directly connected to their respected goddesses. Together with the council they must lead Branos to a prosperous and rightious future.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

After the disapearence of Nyx, the Moonsung family ousted the Brightspires from Emeresia, for they believed Silvana was at fault.. They are permitted to stay in Arlen, but may not take any part in the governing of Branos.

History

During The Great War Silvana and Nyx claimed the Algora, and through that, founded the nation of Branos. To seal the pact they blessed Emeresia, the queen at the time, with two children. These children and their descendants were to lead the nation as the goddesses saw fit. The birth of the blessed children

Cultural Significance

Branos is the only Nation where the leaders are chosen by the gods. Through their authority Branos is assured a level of trust that most Kings and Queens could only dream of.
