Cyrilion Prime
"Cyrilion, where it all began. Where i first got my experiences of fighting against the horror which is trying to drag mankind down into an abyss from where there is no escpae." Lorann sanguinus meros, talking about his experiences of witnessing combat for the first time on Cyrilion primeCyrilion prime was a planet located very near the galactic core of the milky way, so close that there was never any true night due to the combined light from the core and its parent star. It was known for being the place where Lorann sanguinus meros would get his very first combat experience at the meager age of 10 against the horrors and nightmares that had butchered his family in cold blood in front of his own eyes. Despite being inundated with gigantic amounts of radiation, the planet had many of the characteristics which would have made it suitable for habitation by Terran lifeforms. In protected areas of the planet such as valleys and underground cavernous lakes, there were large bodies of water and a thriving ecosystem, which was slowly beginning to spread onto the surface. Most of the life on the planet seemed to be based upon and aided by crystalline growths, which seemed to enrich fertility and encourage lifeforms to colonize a certain area. Had Cyrilion survived for a few thousand years more, it would have become indistinguishable from the myriad amounts of settled worlds in The Imperial Terran Federation. Cyrilion was the site of an intense and major battle between the forces of the federation and the forces of Kerr. The Imperial force known as Battlegroup Cyrilion arrived on Cyrilion after getting intel about a large Kerrite force consisting of corrupted imperial soldiers, demons, kerrite champions and many other elements. Over the course of 3 months, the kerrite forces inflicted massive losses on the Imperial side, but were driven out slowly from their footholds. Finally, it was found that a higher archdemon was hibernating inside the planet and contained a kerrite artifact which would enable it to become practically invincible. Lorann sanguinus meros managed to defeat the archdemon with his newly awakened psychic powers. The death of the creature released a gigantic amount of void energy, destabilising the planet and causing in to collapse unto itself and explode. Only a few of the Imperial contingent managed to escape alive, but the experience they had gained on Cyrilion would serve them very well for the final part of this eternal war.
Atmospheric Composition
- Atmospheric pressure- 16 Kilopascals
- Nitrogen--65 percent
- Oxygen- 20 percent
- Methane- 10 percent
- Ammonia- 4 percent
- Trace Gases-1 percent
Planetary features
- Average Surface Temperature-10C
- Diameter-2 million kilometres
- Natural Satellites-7
- Planet type-There is no specific class which could be assigned to Cyrilion Prime according to the Intergalactic Convention on Planetary Classification. At the time of its founding, it was a barren supermassive terrestrial world which was rapidly transitioning into a supermassive Terran world.
- Surface features- The surface of Cyrilion Prime was geologically quite old, but there were signs of increasing geological and volcanic activity and some of the regions had even begun to sprout volcanoes and earthquakes. Despite this, the surface still consisted largely of radiation soaked barren wastelands where hardly any lifeform apart from hardy microorganisms could readily survive.
- Ecosystem features- Cyrilion Prime was unique in the sense that there was an unusually large abundance of parasitoid creatures on the planet. These creatures often latch to unwary victims and nourish on their innards, before either violently killing the host from the inside out or literally absorbing them into their masses over time.
Some common parasitoids were the Bloodworm, which often drilled into a hosts foot from below and then ate its way out throughout the body, the fangclaw, which latched onto a hosts back and nourished on the brain of the host and the most nightmarish of all, the aquatic blood centipede which would dig inside a hosts body and lay its eggs there before finally rushing out with its offspring all throughout the body, killing the host in the process

*grammar nitpick Proper Nouns are generally fully capitalized (United Kingdom, Cyrilion Prime), includes names (James Smith), the article is a little inconsistent with capitalizing. For format:
The | allows for a person to code in the context or who said the quote For content, This planet sounds really interesting. I find myself wanting more details on the history sections, though those may require their own articles to provide a space for those events without drowning the article being about the planet itself. That being said, there doesn't seem to be much detail on the destruction of Cyrilion Prime, nor much about it's current status (Is is like a thin asteroid belt around its star, a cluster of rocks flying off into the great eternal void and impacting other bodies in its solar system?) I find myself curious as to what's going on in the "present" since its destruction. Are the ruins of the planet being mined for ores and minerals, etc.?
