Nat is one of the three deities that the members of the Cult of Three Divines believes in and worships.

Her main goal is the same as her parents' main goal: to watch over Actrein and its inhabitants. However, while her parents have the job of keeping the physical world intact, Nat has the duty of keeping watch over the mental and emotional world.

Mental Trauma
When Nat was young and still learning how to use her Domains, she tried to use her emotion Domain to help a mortal who was feeling sad. To her horror, the mortal's sorrow became significantly worse, and Nat was unable to do anything about it. Ever since, she has sworn to never use that Domain to alter mortals' emotions.
In addition, on one of her many visits to the mortal realm, Nat was kidnapped by a couple of Zhelats. In the interest of keeping her still so they could better analyze her and figure out what exactly she was, the Zhelats put a Whisperer on her neck. While her parents did eventually rescue her, the damage was done, and the Whisperer began to cultivate her insecurities and fears (primarily, her fears of being alone for all eternity and her insecurity about whether her parents truly care about her).
Another of her traumas comes from the death of her first husband, Khãys. Despite his death not being her fault

History
Nat met Khãys while on one of her many walks through Actrein. He was in the middle of attempting to take his own life, so she stopped him and brought him to a small house in the woods and stayed with him to keep an eye on him and to keep him from attempting to take his life again. Over time, the two bonded and became friends, and then developed feelings for each other.
