Symes Vatsk
Symes Vatsk is the owner and operator of the What Ales You tavern, the only place for a drink in the hamlet of Hirane. Symes works the bar during business hours, while his daughter Relyra serves as barmaid. Symes' wife Lia passed away 4 years ago when she fell down the stairs to the basement of the tavern. Both Symes and his daughter were devastated, however both have carried-on remarkably well thanks to the support of the townsfolk, Edraele Trisyra, and Berny Page.
Symes enjoys running the tavern and socializing with patrons.
