Apostles of the Fell Flame

Onto you I cast thee the utmost importance. You are first to die from the Fell Flame. Don't fret, my dear, I shall grant thee a peaceful leaving of this land, quick, and most likely painless, hehe~!
- An unknown Apostle, committing the first dismemberment for the Fell Flame
After Ílios, Avatar of Sol had engaged in a battle with Anatole, who was the firstborn son of Sol , many who used to look up to the Avatar would only see him cause destruction in the sky. With fear, and anger for what he did, some of his knights, crusaders, and clerics, would bound together to create the Apostles of the Fell Flame. Beckoning with powerful figures, they learnt of the conflict, siding with the brain-dead demigod. To combat Ílios, these now Apostles would control pyromancy and attack other followers of Sol. Their main offences done onto these followers would be to most likely kill them, by dismemberment. Many followers across the South Pole would be beheaded, and then their body split into many smaller parts.
They believe exactly as Anatole would, in a sense of depraved chaos. Neither good nor evil, their actions would be done just to cause trouble. During the wars involved with The Grand Plateau , they would manipulate both sides, similar to that of what the Blood Giants did, but instead of for personal gain and money, they would do it all in the name of Chaos, as Anatole would've wanted.

Sol, and all of his vile spawn, are liars, believing in the order of flame. The only absolute with the world's fire, is that it is chaos; uncontrollable and free.    It should be worshipped more than any god, for it is absolute.
- Lady Hestia Calimeris

The Fell Flame

Whilst this organisation is shown to be worshippers of Anatole, they instead follow his ideology of chaos. Whilst not of the storm, like he was, they believe in the Fell Flame. A source of evocation originated from the Outlands. Using this power directly, and only this source, they would burn bodies this way for beings not worthy of dismemberment. The Fell Flame would cause many different problems for those affected; third degree burns, madness, trauma, the such.

Lady Hestia Calimeris

As the leader of the Apostles, Lady Hestia Calimeris was a noble warrior who worked for Ílios, but when she learnt of what happened, she only saw him as a vengeful being, in need of being exterminated. This led her down a path of corruption, soon believing that all acts are good if done against Ílios. Wielding the Flame of the Fell Anatole, delivered to her by divine intervention by an unknown source, she attempts to wipe out any trace of the avatar in Aitso.  Hestia currently resides in an underground manor hidden in The Grand Plateau , alongside her bodyguard, and her family. Hestia is an intelligent lady, she spends a majority of her time studying in a library that she paid to be filled by grand scholars and philosophers. Quite a few of these people who were in favour of Sol would be executed soon after, making Hestia the only owner of certain books and scrolls. However, other than this, she is a warrior who fights against Fire Giants who had aided Ílios, and still do. She doesn't see it as anything grand, but just as sport. When it comes to her overarching plans, she aches to aid her apostles once again, but is held back by her bodyguard, until he deems it to be safe enough for her to leave.

I like how you can see the current leader's perspective on the organization. I like how you went beyond the standard who and provided more details on Lady Hestia Calimeris.

Potentially misguided zealots gone bad are always a solid antagonistic faction. Very interesting, cool article!
