Altana

Goddess of Dawn

Blazing Goddess of the War-Fields, grant me audience for this war. This siege shan't be won by foolish followers of Alafax , but instead of us!
- Leader Moratis Elobisk, Huntress of the Fallen Forrest
Altana is a human Goddess in the Old Aitso Pantheon. She is said to be the Goddess of Dawn, and Early Battle. A benevolent deity, always eager to aiding those whom pray to her. There wasn't a day that she'd listen to the prayers that were given to her. Those who were closest to Altana saw her less as a warrior and more as a mother, or queen. Her kind actions reflected this, and on many instances, she'd only preach on who would win fights depending on what was at stake. It did not matter to her if the victor of the fight was the strongest, but instead who had the best reason to fight. Esteemed generals have lost against lone wolves, fighting for their freedom and their families, unarmed.
Whenever Altana has had the necessity to fight, she has done so in Undying customs, with a custom helmet that protects her head, but lets her hair run loose. Her armour has got space for her angelic wings too, and is half-plate, in nature. Armed with her holy powers, and a longsword, Altana's fights are mostly done for her own sake, or those she holds respect or a dearness too. In the False Ragnarök, she fought alongside Tyr against Garm and the fiends of Niflheim. She also found herself engaged in a fight with Surtur , before the two eventually joined sides to defeat a common foe.
Altana is often found in her home demiplane, known as The Angelic Field, lodged within Elysium. It is a grand garden, decked with a lodge on a northern cliff. With large shrubs, stretching hundreds of feet to the air, it is considered a multiversal wonder. She keeps six holy aasimar with her, to tend to the gardens, and protect Altana's pet, Mistinc the Ki-Rin. The holy defenders, a more common name for the aasimar, don golden half-plate, like their Goddess has done in battle. Whenever a devout follower of Altana dies, they are often brought for a week to this demiplane, to be celebrated by the Goddess and her retainers.

Valiant Gungir

Weapon (Spear), legendary (Requires Attunement)   The Valiant Gungnir is an exotic spear, akin to the one wielded by Odin , crafted by a Dwarven ally to the Dawn Goddess. A gift, after a long battle in Elysium, from a leakage of Yugoloth mercenaries into the sacred lands. Altana, along with her dwarven friend, had ended up being forged as a gift to the goddess. It holds the magical abilities of Gungir as well, but Odin's weapon bests it in all ways, if put in a fight.
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Gungnir's Will - While you are attuned to Gungnir, your current and maximum hit points increase by 20. When you make an attack roll with it and miss, your attack hits instead, and you lose hit points equal to the difference between your roll result and the target’s AC. When you roll a natural 1, you instead lose hit points equal to 5 + the difference between your roll result and the target’s AC.
Gungnir's Whisper - Gungnir’s thrown range is 100/300, and attacks with it do not suffer disadvantage for being at long range. When this spear is thrown, the wielder of this weapon may roll a d20 to instantly recall this weapon to their hand as a bonus action. On an even number, the spear returns, on an odd number, the spear holds into the ground unable to be removed by anyone but the wielder.
Gungnir's Loyalty - When you roll initiative and have Gungnir in hand, you can throw Gungnir to any distance within its maximum range. This throw cannot attack a creature. All enemies in a cone with a length equal to the distance that you throw the spear must roll a Wisdom saving throw (DC 18) or be frightened of you and up to five creatures you choose for 1 minute. No creature other than you can pick up Gungnir from where it lands, unless you are dead.
