Habormar

Southern Daigare, better known as Habormar, is the southernmost subcontinent island of the continent of Daigare. Habormar consists of multiple ecosystems, each bearing strong connections to the gods and legends. Habormar was the last subcontinent to be integrated into the categorization of Daigare and the last to be fully colonized by modern peoples. The land of Habormar is significantly active both above and below ground. Climates range from temperate to subtropical.  Habormar has been the center of many historical conflicts especially those of legend. The area remains rich in raw materials and unexplored regions. Though small, Habormar has almost always been a land dedicated to the ideas of self-governance and division into small kingdoms rather than an empire under one banner.

Geography

The land is fragmented by ribs of mountain ranges and large bodies of water. From south to north, Sharproot Sump leads into the Easton Woods which stretches until the Mountains of Divide and the Opal Mountains. North leads into the Amber Woods and Lake Dawn, and east leads to the Midpass, the Thousandland Mountains, and the Reaver Plains. The Norton Woods reach beyond Lake Dawn to the Sea of Etai while the Desolate Woods blend into The Wasteland across the Mountains of the Edge. The Wasteland bears the two volcanoes Mount Magni and Blood Mountain as well as the great Loch Ash bordered by the Rhakis Ridge.
