Old Empire Rebels
The army that overthrew Emperor Zou in the War of Eternal Day, establishing Emperor Su Chao in his place. The Old Empire rebellion was started by Zhang Xiong, Zhang Yin Da, Ruya Ilkin, Gao Zhong Hu, Wei Ang Jian, and Du Qian Men. They initially gathered forces in the ruined capital city Yinguonan and used Gao Zhong Hu's popularity to gain support. The enterprise was backed by Su Chao and his considerable resources in exchange for his later appointment as emperor of Zhenhai.
