A type of mystical implement that is created from dragon bone as its primary resource. This can include small charms, weapons, items, jewelery, effigies, statues and much more. Most of these talismans are carved from a single piece of bone. Sometimes the piece of bone is not even carved and just used as is.
Mystics, magicians, witches and other magic users use them. Their versatile nature and long durability make them very valuable and highly coveted. Most dragon bone talisman which are in circulation are famous family heirlooms that were given to them by Cassidy herself or a loyalist.
All dragon bone talismans are unique items. Each was created for a specific purpose and with its own enhancement steps. Loyalists do not consider dragon bone pieces without enchantments or ornaments as talismans. Individuals use these unmarked pieces when they can't access the proper channels to receive such an item. The punishment to use an unauthorized dragon bone piece or talisman is death.
Decorations
Dragon bone has the same plain white colour as any bone. To those without the ability to sense the bone's mystical abilities, they are indistinguishable. Most talismans are adorned with decorations to ensure that their importance is more recognizable. These decorations usually have no functional purpose, though some enchantments use some kind of language or medium to apply them to the talisman. The most common decorations are colours and ornamental carvings on the item. Carving a dragon bone talisman has a slightly diminishing effect as taking away bone reduces the total capacity. In smaller items, decorations are only added and not carved into the bone, but with larger pieces, the difference is barely noticeable.Collectors

Hiding them is very difficult because of their strong mystical energies. The dragon loyalists and dragonic paleontologists have several tools at their disposal to track them down. Some spells can track these things at a great distance without some form of shielding. This makes collecting not very fun either as it is not really possible to show them off, without risking your life. Collectors are much more likely to collect depleted talismans. The loyalists tolerate the collection of the depleted pieces as they are hard to track down and prove that they are indeed dragon bones without making some tests. Though it is definitely not something Cassidy likes to see.
