Wrey Point (/reɪ/ [ray])

Purpose / Function

The Wrey Points are essentially portals. They are markers for points of access to Wrey, which is formed by vast mycelium networks and can only be entered into at certain locations. They allow individuals to travel quickly (or at least quicker than otherwise) between a limited number of Wrey points via Wrey.

Design

The Points are carefully carved into Ofēlūs stipe. They are shaped like a pointed arch, with a hollowed doorway in the centre. The doorway is 1.5m wide, 2.5m tall, and 0.5m deep. There is a 0.75m margin around the doorway, where the connected locations are listed.

Use
To enter Wrey through the Wrey Points, one must stand in the alcove and gently pull on some of hanging fibres as if closing a curtain. This changes the environment one is in, from the outside world to Wrey. It is the same to leave Wrey and return to the outside world.
