Episode 10: Things stolen and found.

This is a lazy version because I’m sleepy, may rewrite later.
 
Putzed around, leveled up, learned skills, bought/revised equipment.
 
Nef gave us an explanation.
 
Theren gained a witch mentor, Kiskara.
 
Arsahm told her about a prophecy he was researching and she’s been helping him with her small library. She gave him a copy of a scroll she found that might help.
 
Theren’s find familiar spell keeps failing, no one knows why. Arsahm thinks its skull w/diamond eyes bad juju. There is no evidence backing that up.
 
Went to a holy festival.
 
Skathor had to hurriedly get a silver circlet made for the main ceremony because the original had been stolen, to help out Brother Gigg. He was a little late, but successful.
 
Theren’s skull w/diamond eyes was stolen as Arsahm pigged out on turkey legs, corn dogs and assorted fair foods. Due to horrible perception checks we had no idea who stole it. Theren’s brand new ritual spell book had also fallen out, but we found that although it was besmirched by being thoroughly stomped on by the festers. Thanks to Kiskara’s Locate Object potion we ran around the city until we found the thief/skull, formed an overly complicated plan and captured the thief, brought him to the guard with all his stolen shit.
 
Back to Kiskara who gave us a mission...
 
Kiskara vs Ybar - Kiskara has an frenemy from her old magic school - Ybar. He wants to steal something on a caravan going south. No idea what it is, will need to spot/thwart attempts to get a clue. Gave us 300gp to offer to buy/as a down payment on the target from the merchant. Our payment s 75 gp each if successful. +25gp/person if we get the object to her. We said - yup.
