Episode 4: Far Falls

So we made it to Far Falls. It’s a pretty and interesting town. It’s up on this cliff with all these waterfalls and stuff flowing out of one side of the town. I’m not sure if its a large town or a small city. How do we measure these things? Growing up in farming villages and monasteries doesn’t really prepare you for that kind of question.
 
We split up to do stuff. We sold our horses for some free cash. More money than I’ve ever seen. It should keep us going, for I don’t know, a long time. We found out abut the hag’s magical items. They were amazing. I have already seen more things than I expected, though I think I regret some of my time with The Revenant House. I didn’t see how bad they were. I’m still probably missing things now. Okay so we went to see Skathor’s friend.
 
Some different things have been happening in Far Falls,. We found out from people at the Moldy Pub like Kash and Gayef. They were Golka’s (that tavern owner, the Green Door Tavern in that small village where the hag was) sisters.
 
1- There’s been fighting between goblins and humans that’s stepped up. The goblins are locals and had sided against the Kijaarvan goblin forces to defend Far Falls, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense, even to the locals. Including the dumping of a goblin defender of Far Falls’s statue into the river and a human farm being burnt down.
 
2- Brother Gigg, Skathor’s friend who works at the Tiamt Temple, said an orcish paladin hero named Iskander disappeared awhile back.
 
3- Coins with a crest similar to the one on Gray’s signet ring have popped up. Maybe a clue to who burnt down his grove. Seems like it might just be foreign money from far far away. No one seems to recognize it.
 
4 - Rumors of a elven moneylender who’s a bit of a jerk, but not necessarily doing anything outright wrong. I wonder what elven money looks like? But I think Nef grew up near enough to elves to see their money and he didn’t recognize it either.
 
Some of the others think they are all related. I don’t think so. I think maybe some are related, but the world is complicated. Sometimes there’s just more than one thing happening at a time.
