Kingfisher Festival Invite +

Today I received an invitation to attend the Kingfisher Festival in Vogler from Ispin Greenshield in two weeks time. It came with instructions to go straight to Fishbowl tavern once I arrive, where a young man named Darrett Highwater will be waiting for me.
 
I'm not sure what all Ispin has found out from his contacts he has. But I'm certainly willing to travel there to maybe find out just what the heck this all means. Plus I haven't attended a festival in years, I hope they have some delicious sweets and ciders. Mmmm, Mrs. Bumbles candies were always the best.
 
Today started out as a sad day, I got to thinking about Fellin and missing them. I pulled out our old drawing as I sat at the top of some hills just overlooking of Kalaman in the distance. I decided since the leads have gone cold and the guilt of it weighing on my mind, I need to do something. I decided I will build our old imaginary friend Scutum Chalybe. I don't 100% know just how I'm going to build him, but after taking apart and putting my arm back together so many time I have a good idea how to start. Using the shapes of Ispin Greenshields Armor I think I have an almost perfect idea of the shapes and dimensions I'll need to achieve. It's going to be tricky in some places, but I need to do it to show I can and mostly I just want a piece of us back. If my math is right I'll need roughly 60 pounds of steel and about 5 pounds of leather and maybe 2-3 pounds of glass. I have no idea how long this is going to take, but I feel like I need to do it.
