Arrival in Vogler

Petals and I made it to Vogler today for the Kingfisher Festival that Ispin invited us to attend. We entered from the north through the main gate and were greeted by some Kender children with flower crowns. The one that ran up to me was about my height. I think I may have been a little taller. :D I asked him where the fishbowl was and he told us almost exactly where it was and we went straight there.
 
Petals and I were walking through the door at the same time as these other 2 guys, funny enough about the same heights as Petals and I. We all were there to meet the Darrett Highwater, a guy Ispin sent us to meet with. Inside wasn't Darret but another guy Juraj Twardowski eating some pastries. After about 1 hour, 2 hours of waiting for the Darret guy to show up, we had eaten a ton of food and had plenty of drinks getting to know everyone. The other short one like me turned out to be another Gnome as well named Erno Flintnose. Erno actually is from Sancrist like me, but we never met each other till now. Then there was the taller one traveling with Erno, his name is Lucas Shepard. Lucas seems like a pretty okay guy, he kept scratching behind the ear a lot, I'm not sure why, maybe it's like a nervous tic or maybe he has lice or something. The Juraj guy seems strange to me, I couldn't get a good read on him today. He said he was a farmer, and walks around with this farmers tool, but he doesn't seem like any farmer I've come across, somethings different. I saw him do something with what looked like a diamond and some strange energy shot out of the diamond.
 
Oh yeah and when we left the Fishbowl to go find Darret we were told to also go find a lost human kid named Ross and we'd get paid 25GP each. We left out through the main gate that they call the River Gate we ended up finding both Darret and Ross walking back together. On our way back I was singing Gnomehemian Rhapsody when we got attacked by these 2 giant red flying lizards with saddles on their backs, these are Red Dragons. I got to see how everyone can fight. Juraj did that crazy energy thing. Petals did his totally Petals thing and just stared at one of the dragons in the eyes to the point the Dragon just left. And the Lucas guy, just ran straight up to the one before Petals and threw these 2 big axes at it. And the other Gnome guy Erno, he had this big axe too and hit this one Dragon that I shot with my crossbow, but when Erno hit it he had an even bigger flash of what looked like white lightning when he brought his axe down and ended up killing one of the Dragons. Darret got in a pretty good hit before Erno did, but Erno seems like a pretty awesome Gnome! We left and headed back to town. Now that I think of it I never got a souvenir from that Dragon to remember it. I need to go back and see if I can get that saddle and maybe 5 scales, 1 for each of us.
 
We made our way back and luckily no more dragons. We got Ross returned back safely and each got paid the 25GP. We started telling the Mayor about the craziness that happened and asked where Ispin was if she had seen him. She told us he died 2 days ago in the woods/forest to the north of the town and that his body was at the Thronwall Keep up by the River Gate. She said the knight Becklin Uth Viharin is there and watching over his body. So then we left the mayors office and went to the Thornwall Keep.
 
So we get to the Keep and Becklin knew who we all were immediately before we introduced ourselves. She was dressed exactly like Ispin minus the Greenshield, turns out she was in the same Knights Order as Ispin the Knights of Solamnia. She like us didn't think Ispin died of natural causes because Ispin was such a formidable fighter and his sword was never drawn. Yet he had a single puncture to the heart that went through his plate armor.
 
So now we're going to go try to find out what happened where he might have been ambushed before his Funeral tomorrow morning the 1st day of the Kingfisher Festival.
