ARC’s Journal 4/23/22

by ARC-4AE-010-G1ST

The Master is dead. And yet I still live. Perplexing.

What is a servant with no master? An automaton with no purpose. Is this sadness? Impossible. I am not capable of such emotions. Yet I still feel like weeping, regardless of anatomy.

But I still have my friends. They have helped me so much. Maybe if I travel with them I can find my new purpose. Chances of success calculated at 20%. Better than 0%.

There was a large explosion, and dust covered the land. We found some crystals, that tried to take over Rerae’s mind.

When they failed Abby yelled at us. He seems to think we are rash, and thoughtless. But what good are words when in the face of danger? What use is caution when every plan has a only a 50% chance of success? Words are for bartenders, not a Underdark kidnappers. He seems unable to accept the reality of adventuring: our lives are always on the line. No matter how prudent we are.

Action is the most efficient path to success. I will convince him of this.

After Abby was mad, he drank. After he drank, we found a meteorite. Some bugs attacked us, but we fought them off. We stand at the entrance, ready to pursue.
