We arrived in town, and began looking for the Shadow. We had been told that the suspected location of their hideout is the artisan district, so the most efficient place to start was there.

I looked around, and saw no obvious entrance. A brilliant tactical move: disguising your entrance as not an entrance. Further, my metallic self drew many stares.

I decided on a more efficient tactic: go undercover as a humble artisan. The perfect plan to evade all suspicion, no one would even recognize me.

While undercover, my companions did their own snooping. Mavinda even audited them, and found them guilty of tax evasion. A heinous crime.

While incognito, I overheard a conversation about a meeting. My companions also discovered other meeting places.

By eavesdropping, we learned of the plan: draw the armed forces of the ruler away, and assassinate then at their speech.

Then the Shadow plans to take control of this town. The most efficient way to stop the Shadow is to not let them succeed. We will stop them and eliminate them.
