Journal Entry - 10/11

Today we found ourselves scavenging for Glowblooms for a quick contract and some potions. We found what we were looking for, however, I was a bit nervous watching my party handle them. They are clearly reckless and do not pay close attention to nature and its dangerous elements... let's hope they do not do this again. I won't always be there to tell them the difference between a herring and a hostile herb. They are eager to learn, yet so ignorant. They will need to learn the hard way if they stumble upon such a predicament.

We met a strange half-orc by the name of Urthan. I think he will be very valuable in our travels.
 
He has a bounty to find a captain somewhere nearby. We have decided to help him in his search and capture of this person. I hope this is quick, but more coin is always useful for our journey.

We have taken care of the bandits - yes, I said bandits - there were a lot more than originally expected. As they say, when you see one roach, there are a hundred more. Luckily we only stumbled upon the first 30 or so... but I know there is always more at hand, even if we don't see them yet. They were tough at first, but we handled it. I must admit, the members of our party are much more resilient than I originally expected. This has proved to be a pleasant surprise.
 
I admit I was worried about growing our party at first, however, my faith is only strengthening towards my newly-found group. I feel I should stick with them a bit longer. I think they will be helpful in helping me achieve my calling of Odin.

I am tired after the events of today - yet I am terrified to sleep. I must press on. I may need to seek the help of a specialized mage if this keeps up.
