Journal Entry - 5/24

My initial assumptions of Aerilyn seem to be somewhat correct. Her recent interaction with a husband-murdering fool named Tracey just about costed her life, whether she realized it or not. If she is to stay alive and well in this group, she needs to be more wise. If I had not been there, she would have been alone with only her bardic wit - and I am not sure how far that would have taken her. That being said, I still have growing confidence in her. She may seem naive, but she certainly isn't unintelligent. I enjoy her company.
 
Borris is doing... okay. If we want to make it far on our journey, we need to teach him not to be foolish enough to drink anything cursed. I worry about him a little.
 
Additionally, I have a new addition to our group as of today - a musk ox. He seems to hold strange, untrained properties to him. I am eager to have him here with us.

I think I have finally received my first message after 7 years. I admit I wasn't ready for this call. No matter how much preparation I could have allowed myself, nothing would have prepared me for what I heard, what I saw. The dream has come to me twice now.
 
Do I wait? Do I call? What do I do with this message? I feel I have already failed, though I just received it.
